Emergency Contact Service is only available
if you also use key holding service. The service can be used by clients
if they have unexpected problems which need immediate attention such
as flooding, or if they lock themselves out etc.
You can register for this service for peace of mind, and as an added
extra for your clients. If you are worried about costs then you could
warn your clients that if they use this service (and therefore incur
a cost) then they could be charged (unless you prefer to pay our fees
direct). Possibly the best option is to leave a card at your property
stating that there is an emergency number, but warning of the costs.
Whilst it would be normal for you to pay for emergency repairs you
may wish to charge clients if, for example, they lose their key and
need to call us out to let them in.
The charge shown is the charge for access to the service. Any time
spent dealing with calls is charged at 30 euros per hour (or part
hour) plus a 30-50 euros call out fee (depending upon distance) if
a visit to the property is required.
If the clients just want to report a fault which can wait until the
next changeover (such as a broken light bulb) then there is no extra
charge as this can be sorted out without an extra trip being required.
